Audi extends Black Edition range

Audi has extended its Black Edition trim level to feature on a wider range of models including the A3 and TT.

The high-spec variant will now also be available for the S3, Q3, S6 and S7 Sportback.

On A3 models, Black Edition cars will benefit from 18-inch alloys with a titanium finish, as well as black accents on the grille, air inlets, window trims and door mirrors. Inside, a 10-speaker Audi Sound System comes as standard.

The S3, meanwhile, will get a Bang & Olufsen system, as well as 18-inch alloys, although the saloon will upgrade these to 19-inch rims.

TTs will also get 19-inch alloys and the Bang & Olufsen hi-fi as part of the Black Edition’s standard kit, but the convertible Roadster models will also be fitted with a powered wind deflector.

On the larger Q3, the Black Edition trim will replace the S-Line Plus models, adding the Black Styling Package and diamond-cut 19-inch alloys. Metallic paint is standard, too, along with privacy glass and a Bose audio system.

Finally, the S6 and S7 Sportback Black Edition cars will get the same black exterior touches, black inlays in the cabin, a flat-bottomed steering wheel and a Bose sound system. The S6 will also get 20-inch alloys, while the S7 Sportback will be endowed with larger 21-inch wheels.

The new Black Edition models are available for order from this month.
