A premier London based performance car retailer has exhibited its brand new CS800 Ford Mustang.

The car, created by Clive Sutton, still uses the original 5.0-litre V8 engine found in the standard Mustang but has a host of mechanical upgrades that have turned it into a savage muscle car.

A supercharger works with an upgraded intercooler, new injectors and a larger throttle body to create an astonishing 800bhp.

Unveiled at a special showing in Monaco, the CS800 was taken around the Monaco Grand Prix circuit to show off not only its new power but new looks too.

From the outside it has a very mean, aggressive stance. An air scoop, lowered suspension and huge black alloy wheels add a menacing presence to the car. Various elements of the vehicle have been crafted from carbon fibre, including the rear wing, front splitter, side skirts and front valance.

The rear window has also been replaced with blacked out louvers that pay homage to the original 1960’s Mustang fastback.

The use of carbon fibre continues inside, with the entire dash fascia being made of it. This is complemented by jet-black leather sports seats with white stitching.

A nine-speaker 1,100 watt audiofile sound system is also available on the car.

Another exterior upgrade is a brand new stainless steel exhaust system with new rear silencers and quad exhaust tips.

This helps to amplify the exhaust sound, something that, according to Clive Sutton, its customer base has asked for.

The CS800 Mustang costs from £64,950 with customers able to specify their own choice of styling packs and optional extras.
