DS 3: now available with more Chic

DS 3 buyers who want more style and technology now have the Connected Chic to choose.

Starting at £16,115, the new-spec sits above entry-level

Chic models and below the more generously equipped Performance Line cars.

The Connected Chic trim level represents a £900 premium over the basic car but features £2,000 worth of additional standard equipment.

Notable features include satellite navigation, MirrorScreen with Mirror Link and Apple CarPlay, automatic air conditioning and rear parking sensors.

The DS 3 Connected Chic also receives some visual tweaks, including 17-inch black diamond-cut ‘Aphrodite’ alloys, a contrasting black roof and door mirrors, tinted rear windows, and Basalt Black ‘Rayados’ cloth trim.

One petrol engine is on offer, available in various states of tune, and one diesel unit. The petrol line-up consists of a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder PureTech unit that develops either 81bhp or 109bhp. Both variants are available with a five-speed manual, while the more powerful 1.2-litre can also be fitted with a six-speed automatic. The diesel offering comes in the form of a 1.6-litre, four-cylinder BlueHDi engine that develops 99bhp.

As for economy, the entry-level petrol unit boasts a claimed fuel consumption figure of 61.4mpg on the combined cycle and CO2 emissions of 107g/km. With the manual transmission, the more powerful petrol manages 65.7mpg on the combined cycle and CO2 emissions of 100g/km. The BlueHDi diesel claims 83.1mpg, and emissions of 87g/km.
