The car is a five-door Titanium-spec Fiesta, featuring a 1.0-litre ecoboost engine that produces 100bhp. It also has a premium Bang & Olufsen audio system with eight-inch connectivity.

The German-built car was transported to a dealership in Birmingham.

Since 2008, the outgoing model has sold 1 million times, 120,000 of which have been registered in the past 12 months.

Petrol powered variants have proved to be the most popular option of those cars, making up 90 per cent of sales.

Seventy per cent of the registered hatchbacks were five-door models, whilst the most popular trim for new Fiestas was Zetec, totalling 60 per cent of sales.
