Honda reveals pricing for all-new Civic

Honda has announced UK pricing for its all-new, 10th-generation Civic, which is set to enter showrooms in late March.

The Japanese firm has also revealed two new petrol engines set to power the Civic. These come as a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with 127bhp, and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder unit that puts out 180bhp.

Prices for the entry level S model fitted with a 127bhp VTEC turbocharged petrol engine start at £18,235, rising to £27,480 for the Presitge model powered by a 180bhp turbocharged engine with CVT transmission.

The Civic’s residual predictions, generated by CAP, have also been released. CAP forecast that the new car is set to hold up to 37 per cent of its value after three years and 60,000 miles.

Phil Webb, head of cars at Honda UK, said: “As a brand, we are making big strides in improving residual values across our range. This will make our cars even more affordable and lower the total cost of ownership for private and business buyers.

“The launch of the advanced and sporty new Civic is a major milestone for Honda in the UK and so we are delighted that CAP agree with our own assessment of this fantastic new car.”
