Lexus announces pricing for LC Coupe

Lexus’ all-new luxury LC Coupe has gone on sale today, with prices starting at £76,595.

Due to arrive in July, the LC will be almost £25,000 cheaper than its nearest rival, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe.

Like its German competitor, the LC will be available with one of two powertrains, though both will be identically priced.

At the moment, just a 471bhp V8-powered LC 500 has been revealed, complete with the world’s first 10-speed direct-shift automatic transmission. However, a 354bhp hybrid LC 500h is due to make its debut at next month’s Geneva Motor Show.

As standard, the LC will come equipped with LED lights, front and rear parking sensors, satellite navigation and leather seats, as well as sports pedals.

All cars will receive adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, traffic sign recognition and blind-spot monitoring.

However, additional equipment packages will also be available with the car. These include items such as 21-inch alloy wheels, carbon-fibre roof and eight-way power-adjustable sports seats.

The highest-grade package brings with it four-wheel steering, a limited-slip differential and a spoiler that can be lowered or raised electronically.

A Mark Levinson premium sound system is available for £1,000 extra, while a colour head-up display can also be fitted for £995.
