McLaren launches the Pure McLaren Ice Driving Experience

McLaren has announced the date it will launch its inaugural ice driving experience, the Pure McLaren Arctic Experience, located in Finland.

It will be the world’s only ice driving programme in the world where customers can drive a McLaren Sport Series car, representing a fantastic opportunity for attendees.

The event will be held between January 15 and February 3, 2017, and will accommodate groups of up to 14 for a three-night stay. Anyone can attend the event, as it hasn’t been reserved for current McLaren owners.

Professional drivers will guide attendees as to how they can glean the very best from the cars, and will tutor them on the differences between ice and snow driving, and regular driving.

In addition to having the opportunity to drive the McLaren 570S, guests will also take part in events such as a husky safari and snowmobile expedition. Javri Lodge, the former home of the president of Finland, is where they will be staying. Owing to its remote and isolated location, the lodge is a perfect place to view the Northern Lights.

The Pure McLaren Arctic Experience will cost from £12,500, which includes transfers from the airport to Javri Lodge, and winter wear for each guest.
