Nissan announces pricing and specifications for new GT-R Track Edition

The complete pricing and specification for the new GT-R Track Edition have been released by Nissan.

The car, which was developed by Nissan’s in-house motorsport division Nismo, will be priced at £91,995 when it goes on sale in the UK.

Changes on the Track Edition include race-tuned suspension, and a light-weight anti-roll bar to name but a few. All of these alterations are intended to increase the GT-R’s agility, and give drivers greater confidence in the car when travelling at high speeds.

The new GT-R Track Edition sits below the flagship GT-R Nismo, but above the Premium, Prestige and Black Edition models.

In addition to a wider front bumper, 20-inch forged aluminium alloy wheels have also been added to the Track Edition. In the cabin, buyers will find black and red Recaro bucket seats, and a unique Track Edition badge made out of carbon.

Optional extras include carbon-backed seats, and a carbon boot lid.

Audiophiles will find the new 11-speaker Bose stereo system a welcome addition. This is controlled by a new touchscreen infotainment system.

The GT-R Track Edition is powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6, which produces around 565bhp and 637Nm of torque.

Each individual engine is assembled by hand by a ‘Takumi’, which means ‘Master Craftsman’ in Japanese.

Customer deliveries for the new car are set to begin in November.
