Porsche has released a series of striking photographs of the new Panamera Sport Turismo ahead of its Geneva Motor Show debut. 

While the new model will boast the same luxury elements as the standard Panamera, it will offer far more versatility thanks to the new ‘estate’ shape.

A large tailgate, raised roofline and low loading edge will make accessing the 520 litre boot compartment, which increases to 1,390 litres with the rear seats folded down, easy.

The long roofline extends into an adaptive spoiler, which can be set at three angles depending on the driving situation and selected vehicle settings.

This model is the first Panamera to offer three rear seats, two of which are full size, with a smaller perch in between. However, buyers will be able to specify the model with two electrically-adjustable individual seats.

Technology seen in the recently-launched Panamera sports saloon will feature in the estate, including the Porsche Advanced Cockpit; Porsche InnoDrive; adaptive cruise control; rear axle steering; Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC Sport) and electronic roll stabilisation.

Porsche Traction Management– an active all-wheel drive system with electronically-controlled multi-plate clutch – will also feature as standard, while S models will receive adaptive air suspension.

At the Swiss car show, Porsche will be displaying the Sport Turismo with its give different engine options.

The Panamera Sport Turismo 4 is the basic-spec option, delivering 326bhp for €97,557 (around £83,600). This is followed by the 4S, 4S Diesel and 4 E-Hybrid. Finally the range-topping Turbo will make 543bhp and cost from €158,604 (around £136,000). Exact UK pricing is yet to be announced.
