Porsche reveals limited-edition 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series

Porsche has revealed its most powerful 911 Turbo S ever – the new Exclusive Series.

Limited to just 500 units, the new car benefits from a power hike of 27bhp over the standard Turbo S, taking its power output up to a remarkable 599bhp. The 3.8-litre flat six engine’s torque figure remains unchanged at 750Nm, however.

Despite the increase in power, the Exclusive Series has the same performance figures as the regular Turbo S, hitting 60mph from a dead stop in just 2.7 seconds and carrying on to a top speed of 205mph.

The Exclusive Series is separated from the rest of the Turbo range though its “unique design, higher-quality materials and luxurious details”, says Porsche.

The Golden Yellow Metallic paint finish is exclusively available on this model, and has been applied to the body, the design lines of the 20-inch alloy wheels and the brake caliper badges.

Carbon fibre has been extensively used in the car, with the roof, bonnet and side skirts all made from the weight saving material.

Inside, the sports seats have been finished in two layers of leather and finished with Golden Yellow seams. A plate on the passenger side of the car indicates the vehicle’s limited-edition number.

The new Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series is priced from £186,916 in the UK, marking a significant increase over the standard Turbo S’s £145,773.
