Special ‘Landmark’ Range Rover Evoque to commemorate milestone for JLR

Land Rover has unveiled a special edition of its Range Rover Evoque.

Called the Evoque Landmark, it has been commissioned by Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) to celebrate 600,000 Evoque’s having been manufactured to date.

Priced from £39,000 the car will feature a unique paint job called Moraine Blue, as well as Yulong White and Corris Grey.

It will also feature unique 19-inch alloy wheels and sport chunky dark grey exterior trim. The exterior lettering will also match the grey colour of the alloy wheels.

Inside there are ebony leather seats with white stitching, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with WiFi and optional touch-pro service. This helps with real time traffic management with your sat nav and also connects to the Internet, bringing you news and weather updates.

Other standard features include keyless entry and a powered tailgate.
The Evoque Landmark comes with a 2.0-litre, 178bhp TD4 engine, accompanied by a six-speed manual gearbox.

Jeremy Hicks, managing director at JLR, said: “The Evoque has been an indisputable success. It’s our biggest selling model in the UK and continues to thrive six years after launch, it’s a fantastic achievement and worthy of celebration.

“The Landmark edition has new dynamic detailing and a distinctive aesthetic which takes its design credentials to an even higher level – it looks fantastic and we know customers will love it.”

Since March alone, the UK has registered 6,781 Evoques, with the manufacturing plant based in Solihull seeing a brand new Evoque roll off the production line every 170 seconds.
