The next filming location for the hotly-anticipated Amazon Prime series the ‘Grand Tour’ has been revealed, with former Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May heading to southern California next month to continue shooting the live sections of the show.

With the first episode of the new series filmed in South Africa in mid-July, it’s certainly been a busy period for the trio, who left their Top Gear positions following Clarkson’s assault on a producer at a North Yorkshire hotel back in 2015.

Though the exact location of the filming has yet to be revealed, it is known that it will take place on September 25.

A statement from Amazon Prime said: “Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May will be taking their tent to southern California on September 25

Clarkson tweeted: “People of America. We are coming with the Grand Tour.”

Hammond also took to the social network to announce the visit, saying: “If you can be in California in September, are excited by the idea of the new show and like tents, this is perfect. Do it!”

Those interested in attending the show are being told that they are able to apply for tickets until 11:59pm Pacific time on August 8 (7:59am on August 9 in the UK). However, terms and conditions means that ticket allocations are restricted to those over the of 18 and residing in the USA.
